Overview
What it is.
Dizziness and vertigo are not a single problem. The most common type, Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), is caused by displaced crystals in the inner ear and is usually fixed in one to three visits. Other dizziness patterns come from concussion, vestibular neuritis, cervical spine issues, or general deconditioning. The right treatment depends entirely on the right diagnosis.
